Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Mangrove Web Development (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Mangrove Analytics platform (the “Service”) — an internal reporting tool that aggregates Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and related data into client dashboards.
Information We Collect
When you sign in with Google and connect an account, we may access and store:
- Account identity: your name, email address, and profile picture, used to identify your account.
- OAuth tokens: access and refresh tokens that let the Service retrieve your data on your behalf. These are stored securely and never shared.
-
Analytics data: metrics and reports from the Google services you authorize, which may include:
- Google Analytics 4 (traffic, engagement, events, geography)
- Google Search Console (clicks, impressions, queries, pages, sitemaps)
- Google Tag Manager (container metadata)
How We Use Information
- To authenticate you and maintain your session.
- To fetch, store, and display analytics in dashboards and client reports.
- To refresh data on a schedule so reports stay current.
- To diagnose connection or permission issues with your Google accounts.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The Service's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only access the Google user data needed to provide the reporting features described above, and we do not transfer this data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service, comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition.
Data Storage & Security
Data is stored in our application database with access restricted to authorized personnel. We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information. Analytics reports may be shared with the specific client they pertain to via password-protected preview links. We may share data with service providers strictly to operate the Service, or when required by law.
Data Retention & Deletion
You can disconnect a Google account at any time from the admin panel, which deactivates its stored tokens. You may also revoke the Service's access directly from your Google Account permissions page. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the address below and we will remove it within a reasonable timeframe.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
